More Old News...

But news, none the less. Still struggling to get caught up after last week's flurry of activity. Not the least of which was another round of shooting for our upcoming episode of Cafe Racer TV.

After assembling the the top end for the cameras the day before, Thursday's goal was to get this thing fired up. After more then four hours of fiddling and kicking in the June sun, about the only thing we accomplished was a sun tan. While the drama, tension, and frustration of the bike NOT running might make for better TV, I certainly would have preferred basking in the glory of the Badger's bark. Alas, it was not to be that day, and the new engine's running would wait till Saturday. Of course AFTER the cameras had gone home. Oh well.

Adding to the pressure; by virtue the shop's convenient, central location, Cafe Racer TV had invited some of the more local CR TV veterans to come down to Trenton, and take part in a "Builder On Builder" interview piece. It was intimidating meeting these guys; as our facilities are modest at best, and I consider all these guys pretty successful builders and shop owners. But it wound up being a lot of fun, with our guests being very graceful and appreciative. Everybody does put their pants on, one leg at a time.

Meeting Kevin Dunworth of Loaded Gun Customs....

Badger Corse Creative Director, Mark Rounds, spilling the beans about the inner workings of Badger Corse....

Kevin looking defiant under questioning....

Another Cafe Racer TV vet, Brooklyn's Tim Harney cops a slightly more happy go lucky vibe...

All in all, a fun, interesting, and exhausting couple of days. The end of the week saw us confronting some new, expected issues with the bike which have put us behind schedule a bit. But hell, nothing new there....

Thanks to Lance at Maverick Moto Media for coming down, snapping the pics, and helping with the PR push.

Cheers,
